Commemorative Issue

Christmas 2010

This year's series of stamps comprises three postage stamps of 22, 51 and 68 cent.

The 22-cent stamp depicts details from the representation of the Birth of Christ from a 16th century portable icon. The icon, together with frescos and other icons of the 16th century are preserved in the small wooden-roofed church of Agios Nicolas in the village of Klonari at Limassol.

The 51 and 68 cent stamps depict in a vivid manner the festive, joyous message of Christmas, as usually represented by Christmas decorations.
