Green energy

Greece
The rapid technological progress of recent decades, in combination with the modern way of life, economic growth and improved living standards, has led to an over-exploitation of nature, bringing our planet to the brink of catastrophe, with climate change and its adverse consequences already having appeared. Our last hope amidst the chaos is renewable sources of energy, which our country has in abundance but which have unfortunately been little utilized so far.

Wind, water, sun: they are all inexhaustible and plentiful in the natureal - even household or industrial waste can be exploited to meet our ever-increasing energy needs. Solutions exist and are freely available to us. All we have to do is to exploit and develop them in the right way, to make the vision of reduced dependence on conventional energy sources a reality, finally giving our plant the chance to breathe - and ultimately to survive.
